Pop Music (English)

The music video you see above is the music video for the song "Black or White" is a song by Michael Jackson, an American singer-songwriter.  Epic Records released the song as the first single from his eighth studio album, Dangerous, on November 11, 1991. He co-wrote, composed, and produced it with Bill Bottrell.

Michael Jackson started his career along side his brothers Joe, Jacky, Tito, Jeramine, Marlon, and Randy. They formed a band on 1964 called " The Jackson 5 ". The band was famous for its pop music such as ABC and many more. They eventually split up on 1973 which lead Michael Jackson to pursue on his solo career. Michael Jackson was very successful in his career and was known worldwide as The King of Pop on 1984,  because of his music such as Beat it, Bad, Thriller, Black or White, and many more singles under his name.

Personally, I have been a fan of MJ ever since I was little, because of how many times my dad would play it either on TV or on Radio. I would dance to the funky beat of his music and randomly utter strange words whilst singing his songs. As I grow up, I realize the lyrics on most of MJ's songs were inspirational. Just like the song above. The music video for Black or White featured lots of different types and races of people. As what MJ said in the lyrics, " And I told about equality and it's true, Either you're wrong or you're right
But, if you're thinkin' about my baby
It don't matter if you're black or white." He explains equality throughout the song. This song shows us to not be afraid of what color our skin is because we are all the same human being. We should not judge someone because of what they are, we should love them for who they are. This message really appeals to the modern issue of racism and discrimination. People should open their eyes to change and acceptance, because the world wont flow the way you want it to. You have to adjust, for life just throws random problems at you. We should learn to respect and love so that the world will have peace and tranquility.

Thank you Michael for your music, you will always be remembered for the legacy that you have created within the music industry!
